CanCan was founded with a simple belief: disability deserves authentic representation, both on screen and behind the scenes. We exist to create opportunities for disabled talent, not as a charitable gesture, but as meaningful, paid work that recognizes creativity, skill, and lived experience.
Our productions challenge stereotypes through humor, honesty, and bold storytelling. We have proudly created two groundbreaking series: Advice You Don’t Want to Hear, which tackles disability with wit and authenticity, and DisCo, a globally touring disability talk show that amplifies local disabled voices. Filmed in both English and Arabic, DisCo has connected communities across cultures, proving that powerful stories can inspire conversation and create lasting change.
